Born 1976 in Demmin, Germany. Studied law at the University of Greifswald (Ernst-Moritz-Arndt-Universität). Served as research associate for the teaching chair for civil, commercial and corporate law, at which he also completed his doctoral dissertation. Secondment, as part of his practical legal training (Referendariat), at a major international law firm in London as well as other firms. Admitted to practice as an attorney (Rechtsanwalt) since 2005. Started his career at Lovells in Berlin, then moved to LJRR after the spin-off. Became a partner at LJRR in 2008.
